Britannia Europe is also a mutual insurance association, registered in Luxembourg and authorised by the Luxembourg Minister of Finance and regulated by Commissariat aux Assurances. Together, Britannia (UK)’s and Britannia Europe’s Members include many of the world’s leading shipowners and charterers. The origins of the Britannia Group date back to 1855, Tindall Riley having acted as it managers since that date.
